Adam Law: One tactic that has helped our leadership team stay focused is how we manage our issues list. We review the list prior to the meeting and then resolve any issues that can be answered quickly or don't require a full team discussion. We also decide whether an issue truly is an issue and it needs to be addressed by the team, or if it's better handled differently. This keeps our issues time focused on what actually moves the organization forward, and prevents meetings from getting derailed by topics that don't impact team progress.
